Our History

Vandermeer Forest Products, Inc. is a regional distributor of high quality building products in the Pacific Northwest. Founded by Frank Vandermeer in 1972, VFP began as a distributor of lumber, studs and plywood to lumber yards and industrial accounts in Washington and Oregon. Today we distribute many leading products to customers in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Hawaii in the US and British Columbia and Alberta in Canada.

Vandermeer's longstanding relationship with LP Building Products was recently highlighted at LP Field in Nashville, TN at a Titans NFL game.

Vandermeer Forest Products, Inc. has a leading reputation for introducing new products that require an experienced professional team lead by strong management. Products we have introduced and continue to sell include Oriented Strand Board, Engineered Wood Siding, OSB Stepping, Radiant Barrier Panels, Fire Rated OSB and high performance building wraps.

We are a proud distributor of LP Building Products, the world leader in OSB technology and manufacturing. LP has introduced many of the industry's most reputable products. VFP distributes the complete LP line of products including OSB sheathing, sub-flooring, siding, trim, EWP, TechShield, FlameBlock, Cararra Stucco, and SmartGuard treated OSB products.

Our current product line also includes Potlach Plywood, Pactiv GreenGuard insulation and building wraps, AZEK decking, AZEK railing, AZEK trims and AZEK molding, VAST Pavers, LightSteel Beams, Shakertown, Homasote, Simpson Strong Tie, and NextStone.
